Empowering People With A New Conservative Movement
This Conservative Movement is about leadership at the highest level – larger than any individual candidate and about ideals that are the fabric of every human being in living a purposeful life. This Conservative Movement is about Citizens who yearn to be more and who seek more in their leaders to create a society of honor and forethought. It is a lifeline to the 21st Century for greater thought and humanitarian action. The role of government is to keep things honest, not to provide for us or control us – there is infinitely more brainpower, initiative and desire in the private sector and this Conservative Movement will show how to harness this power for society as a whole.
America needed to be restored once before when Abraham Lincoln said in memorial at Gettysburg in 1863 “ -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.” The freedom of every American is at stake in this election.
The people’s cry today for change in our government is heard loud and clear. This Conservative Movement represents the change the people cry for and this is the change that satisfies people’s hearts with “life, liberty and the pursuit if happiness.” We can say this because we too are “the people” and this new leadership will show how to stay in control of our government to produce a better result than we are faced with today. If you will give your support to this Conservative Movement, a movement for the people, we will show with clarity that by the next House election in 2010, we will put this country on the track we want most – ending the use of government for monetary gain, advantageous position and self-dealing. Controlling our government will be very satisfying for ‘we the people.”.
People have questioned the wisdom of adopting “Conservative” as our handle, but it is Conservative America that is the “Shining city on the hill” and Conservatism is all about the greatness and empowerment of people for a greater good. It is also the un-ambiguous defender of American Freedom. This Conservative Movement creates for the first time a monument of Conservative Principles for all citizens to see, for all citizens to debate and most importantly, to be immune from insidious personal attacks used as a weapon by one party in great fear of these principles brought to bear.
America was invented in response to the tyranny of government by the few and one party seeks to return America to pre-1776, not pre 9/11.Our Founders fought and died to give “we the people” a system of government in which the power is vested in our own hands. Revolution 2008 requires only for people to vote keeping their freedom and then we go to work on righting our “ship of state.”
It is clear that our politicians and many of our institutions have failed us badly. But, as complicated as government may seem, with principle and honesty, it is actually quite simple, as we will show.
For just one example, look at education, the essence of our future. The problem with education is bureaucracy and the more money we throw at education, the more bureaucracy we get. Private Schools do not have bureaucracy, cost less and produce results because they have to. The very nature of bureaucracy is to stifle initiative and as a result, performance is stifled also. Vouchers are an attempt to beat the system and charter schools are an attempt to start a new system without the bureaucracy and this is the problem with big government running anything for us – it makes any problem worse and we debate Vouchers instead of less bureaucracy, the actual problem.
This Conservative Movement is going to lead the way to local control of our public schools with teachers and parents working together to in a sense of community in which students are empowered and thrive because they know people care. No government can ever achieve this and we will get it done.
When President Reagan said “government is the problem” he meant “government bureaucracy” is the problem and omitting one word left the door open for debate semantics to play on with those seeking power through government position but its time to get real; the stakes are too high to get “stuck on stupid.” The Post Office was a failed institution as a government bureaucracy and it has been vastly improved by fixing the bureaucracy. Under no circumstances can our health care system can be put in the hands of government as it exists today and this Conservative Movement will also lead us to the solution to health care because it is not that complicated when the right solution is sought instead of the government solution. If your only tool is a hammer, all problems look like a nail and the only tool government has is bureaucracy.
One choice in this election sends America in a direction from which not only has no country ever empowered its people – ever – but it is also the direction from which those who have tried it and failed are moving back to Conservativism. We will get America fixed and there is a huge energy in America for what this new Conservative Movement stands for – leadership for “we the people” to create a society in which our collective humanity produces a society of thought and honor with our government providing order but not control. No controlled society has ever worked for its people and it must be rejected in this election. Our lives will be so much better if we do.
In 2006, America was told to hate Republicans and you are experiencing firsthand the result – the worst economic crisis since 1929 and an 11% approval of Congress. No matter how upset “we the people” may be, this is the time, this is the moment that we must realize “we the people” are the power and we MUST take control of our future for ourselves, not give even more control to the government.
We must vote Republican because they are the only party that will listen to the people and then this Conservative Movement in concert with the American people will show the way. 70% of America believes in a God and we believe the same is true for the principles of freedom upon which America was founded. There is already an enormous amount of high quality Conservative thinking in place; we need only simplify it into a message that is easily understood in difficult times.

A nation’s economy has three universal components – taxes, interest and energy – that touch everyone. We know the impact of taxes and interest and we therefore know that a nation must pursue the lowest cost energy possible to thrive and technology must drive costs down to the lowest cost to be adopted. Artificially inflating one energy cost to favor another will destroy the nation’s economy. How did you like $4 gas?
The fatal flaw of “bottom-up” economics is that the successful do not have to play the game and this is why it has never worked before and why it will never work.
“Trickle-down” economics is a false descriptor. “Jobs in the workforce” is the correct descriptor. A growing economy creates jobs and skills lead to better jobs. It is absurd to believe that labor is the engine of an economy when markets are the obvious engine known to every one in the world except one candidate.
Every CEO in America says they will cut jobs if one candidate is elected, yet that one candidate is promising to create jobs.
Our Government has no money but one candidate is proposing to spend on more bureaucracy.
The Founders only made one flaw – they never envisioned the Press abandoning its role as the watchdog of freedom. No one envisioned the Press being willing to destroy itself in said abandonment, but they have. |
